How we use information
We use submitted information to understand the project, respond to the inquiry, route the request to excavation contractors or service providers that may be able to serve the project, operate and improve the website, prevent abuse and maintain records related to inquiries.
Sharing with contractors
Ontario Excavation Contractors is a lead-generation and contractor-matching service. Information submitted for a project may be shared with one or more independent contractors or service providers for the purpose of evaluating or responding to the request. Contractors are independent businesses and are responsible for their own privacy practices.
Service providers
Website hosting, form processing, analytics, communications and other technical services may be provided by third parties acting on our behalf. Information may be processed in jurisdictions outside Ontario where those providers operate.
Retention and security
We retain inquiry information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, business records, dispute prevention and legal obligations. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask about personal information associated with an inquiry, request a correction, or ask that information no longer needed for legitimate business or legal purposes be deleted. Use the contact page to make a privacy request.
