Service role
Ontario Excavation Contractors is a lead-generation, information and contractor-matching service. It is not the excavation contractor performing work unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.
Independent contractors
Contractors receiving or responding to project requests are independent businesses. Users are responsible for evaluating contractor qualifications, experience, insurance, licensing or registrations where applicable, safety practices, references and suitability for the work.
Quotes and agreements
Any estimate, quote, schedule, warranty, scope of work or construction agreement is between the project owner and the contractor unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. We do not guarantee contractor availability, response time, pricing, workmanship or project outcome.
Project information
You agree to provide reasonably accurate project and contact information. Site conditions, dimensions, access, buried utilities, permits, engineering requirements and other facts should be verified before work begins.
Locates, permits and safety
Excavation can involve serious hazards. The responsible parties must determine and satisfy applicable utility-locate, permit, inspection, engineering, environmental and safety requirements before excavation starts.
Website information
Service, cost and planning content is general information and may not reflect the conditions, laws, approvals or costs for a specific property or project. It is not legal, engineering, geotechnical or construction advice.
Acceptable use
You may not use the site to submit false inquiries, interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or reproduce substantial site content in violation of applicable law, or misuse contact information obtained through the service.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, Ontario Excavation Contractors is not responsible for losses arising from a contractor’s acts or omissions, project delays, site conditions, quote differences, third-party services or reliance on general website information.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the service changes. Continued use of the site after an updated version is posted constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
